1.) Why is mama so clam all of the time?
2.) Why is Nigeria going downhill government wise????
3.) Why does mama want another kid with papa? (because he's abusive)
4.) Would you ever want to live in Africa? Where's its not as equal as it is in the US?????
1. Mama is abused by Papa and can't do anything about it with the role of males in a family in their culture.
ReplyDelete2. Nigeria is experiencing a couple of coup which is where basically military groups are overthrowing each other to control the government.
3. Mama doesn't necessary have a say in whether or not she has another child but in this case she does because she has had multiple miscarriages which is causing other people in the town to try and convince Papa to leave her since she hasn't been able to delivery anymore more children so if Mama has another child she'll help support why Papa din't leave her.
4. I would never want to live in Africa with the instability that is a constant in most African countries. The only country I would consider living in, in Africa, is Botswana. Botswana is one of the safest countries in Africa and is one of the only countries in the world that isn't at war with another one.
